With properties along both sides of Mission Creek now legally available for use by the public, users can do a loop, along both sides of the creek, between Casorso and Gordon Drive. Thursday’s dedication ceremony also marked some of the first properties to be acquired for a decades-long project to re-naturalize Mission Creek. The two parcels now permit users of the Mission Creek Greenway to legally use the top of the dike at Casorso Road. One belonged to three Casorso sisters while the other belongs to the Westbank First Nation’s IR #8, with permission for the public to use it.
